In June of this year mos.ru has the opportunity to make an appointment with a notary online. Since the launch of the service, it has been used more than 1,800 times. This is a joint project of the Moscow Government and the Moscow City Notary Chamber.

Notaries are lawyers authorized to confirm the authenticity of copies of documents and signatures on them, as well as assess the accuracy of the translation of documents from one language to another. They help to certify the legality of transactions, including real estate, draw up wills and enter into inheritance rights. Notaries certify donation agreements, draw up consent (for example, for a child to travel abroad with a person who is not a close relative). In addition, these specialists will be needed when concluding a marriage contract or alimony agreement. Often, the services of notaries are used when you need to submit documents for registration of a legal entity or to issue the status of an individual entrepreneur.

With the help of the online service, you can make an appointment with specialists to draw up a power of attorney, inheritance, certification of copies of documents and the authentication of signatures, do the paperwork for a marriage contract or a real estate deal.

“Notary services are in demand among citizens; that’s why mos.ru web portal created a simple and easy-to-use notary appointment service. It allows planning a visit in advance and not to wait in line: users just need to mark the desired service and the time of the visit to the office. Now the citizens can choose over 60 notaries who joined the project within the pilot launch of the service. In the future, the number of specialists available for registration will increase,” said Eduard Lysenko, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Information Technology.

To use the service of making an appointment with a notary on the portal mos.ru, citizens need to open the “Services” section and go to the “Documents” tab. From the list, select “Make an appointment with a notary” and click on the “Get a service” button.

On the service page, the user will see a list of documents that must be provided at an appointment with a notary. The notification of confirmation of the appointment will be sent to a personal account on the mos.ru portal and to the applicant’s e-mail. The service is available to individuals with a standard or full account on the mos.ru portal, representatives of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
