Manchester, are you ready? Sqew, Deliveroo’s Best Kebab of 2025, opens its doors at 75 Deansgate on Friday 26 September at 12pm, and they’re marking the occasion in true street-food style.

From 12pm – 2pm only, Sqew will be giving away 500 free shawarmas, no menu, no fuss, just authentic street-style wraps. Choose from lamb, chicken or falafel, grab and go – just as it’s eaten on the streets of the Levant.

Founder Mitch Renshaw said: “Manchester has shown us so much love already, so we wanted to start things off with a bang. Nothing says welcome quite like 500 free shawarmas!”

After the giveaway, the restaurant will be open as usual, serving up its bold take on the kebab with a menu of shawarmas, rice platters and Manchester-exclusive specials.
