It’s been labelled ‘Manchester’s own Fyre Fest’ as huge gigs from Peter Kay to Olivia Rodrigo were cancelled last minute at the Co-op live arena – with reports of falling air-conditioning units and unfinished electricals.

This has of course caused a social media storm around the arena with 1.9 million views under the TikTok hashtag #cooplive¹, with Brits hailing the debacle a ‘total embarrassment’.
