SPARKS ADVENT CALENDAR: M&S SEES 100K APP DOWNLOADS IN JUST 48 HOURS AS CUSTOMERS FLOCK TO OPEN THEIR SPARKS ADVENT CALENDAR

M&S has seen over 100k downloads of its app in just 48 hours after launching its popular Sparks Advent Calendar on Wednesday. Wednesday marked the retailer’s highest number of daily app downloads this year and the third highest day ever – trailing closely behind the relaunch of Sparks back in July 2020.

Yesterday (day 2 of the calendar) was GARY BARLOW DAY – which saw more than 100k customers registering for the chance to win two tickets to an EXCLUSIVE SPARKS VIP CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE from the Take That performer. The Sparks team will now start contacting the winning 100 customers, inviting them & a guest to a “1 in a 1000 chance” exclusive concert on December 14th.

Since Monday, 2.5m customers have visited the M&S App, with 800K engaging with the Advent Calendar. With just 10 days of the calendar remaining, M&S is encouraging all customers to download the FREE App and avoid missing out on the brilliant offers, discounts and treats available – which are all completely tailored to them. Offers include discounts on M&S Clothing, Home, Food and beyond – with the M&S Belgian Collection Biscuit Tin proving to be the customer favourite offer so far.

We’ve already seen 800k customers get involved and take advantage of the brilliant offers available – from the exclusive Gary Barlow competition to free giveaways to big discounts on your Christmas shopping. With several days still to go, customers should get in quick to download the M&S App and ensure they don’t miss out!”

· Every day from 1-12 December, Sparks customers will receive a special festive offer to use across M&S Clothing, Home, Food and beyond!
