Shida Preserved Flowers Launches a Stunning Seasonal Collection to Last All Year

Shida Preserved Flowers has released its latest seasonal collection of beautiful and timeless, sustainable blooms inspired by interior and fashion trends. The exquisite preserved arrangements last all year and are soft and supple to the touch, giving the same enchanting appearance as fresh cut flowers and floral bouquets.

Pioneer in contemporary, sustainable floral decorations and centrepieces, Shida’s preserved flowers are real plants, expertly grown and harvested at their peak. A special environmentally friendly preservation treatment replaces the sap with 100% plant-based glycerine and dyes. The cell structure of the plants is maintained, leaving them feeling soft, naturally beautiful, and able to last all year with little maintenance needed.

With a focus on creativity and mindfulness, each of Shida’s products has been thoughtfully curated by Head of Design Helen Ellis, who takes inspiration from fashion, trends, art, and interior design to devise the unique ranges which include bouquets, wreath-kits, and gift sets. Shida’s expert team of florists then hand-arrange each of its blooms and lovingly place them in sustainable packaging before they are delivered directly to your door.

Inspired by traditional Japanese floristry, Shida’s latest seasonal collection features two gorgeous pieces available to purchase online now.

The first is the exceptional Nova hand-tied bouquet, featuring stunning deep blue hydrangeas accessorised with lush, preserved greenery. The luxurious bouquet also includes natural gypsophila, stuartina, fern, blue botao, lepidium, and parvafolia in ultramarine blue and forest greens, chosen for their mood-boosting qualities. RRP £66.

The second piece is the Midori Ikebana Kit. This curated collection of stems, foliage and floral decorations features sumptuous greenery and pops of blue, giving customers a fresh take on Ikebana, the ancient art of Japanese flower arranging.

Midori Ikebana Kit

Shida’s Head of Design Helen Ellis says: “We love the minimal and delicate aesthetic of Ikebana and, with a focus on taking time out to be creative, we have provided everything our customers need to create a beautiful arrangement in a few easy steps.

“Collaborating with British potter Paper Thin Moon, we created a perfect little flower frog, allowing you to artfully position the slender stems and branches. The kit contains a gorgeous selection of textures and rich colours with preserved eucalyptus and fern, teamed with pretty florals. The preserved and naturally dried real flowers will stay fresh and soft to touch all year and with extra stems provided to store in the box and craft into new arrangements at a later date.

“You can also add some seasonal colour from your latest Shida bouquet or team the Midori Ikebana kit with your foraged finds or home-grown flowers for a fresh new look.”

The set includes baby blue, green populus, stuartina, ixodia, fern, blue botao, blue gypsophila, mini pampas and amarelino, Ikebana instructions, and a handmade flower frog in oatmeal glazed porcelain. RRP £49
