Fresh food brand, Higgidy, has launched an exciting new range of sharing sized pies to help lend a hand in busy family kitchens up and down the country.

Available in Sainsbury’s stores, each sharing pie has been created with wholesome and delicious ingredients, offering families a faff-free solution for busy mealtimes.

Being the perfect size for sharing, Higgidy’s first ever sharing pies are an ideal speedy solution for a midweek meal with the family or for an indulgent date night for two. Each pie can be cut into slices so that everyone can tuck in – there’s certainly plenty to share.

Both pies contain only the very best ingredients, straight from the Higgidy kitchen, with options for both meat lovers and veggies to enjoy:

Steak & Sussex Ale Pie
All hail the ale! Higgidy has teamed up with local friends at Hepworth Brewery to create a delicious Steak & Sussex Ale Pie. A larger size of the individual Steak & Ale Pie which was launched by Higgidy in 2020, the pie features a traditional pale ale, packed with malted barley and the finest hops – the perfect ingredient for the rich beef gravy.

The top-notch recipe combines the best cuts of tender, slow-cooked British beef in a rich Sussex ale gravy, with onions and carrots, packed into a shortcrust pastry case and hand-topped with all-butter puff pastry and a linseed and poppy seed sprinkle.

Chilli-Roasted Sweet Potato and Feta Pie
Everything’s better with feta! Seeded spelt shortcrust pastry with chilli-roasted sweet potato and butternut squash in a creamy feta & spinach filling, hand-topped with all-butter puff pastry and a crispy kale and quinoa sprinkle.

Higgidy’s all-new sharing pies will be available from Sainsbury’s on 3rd February 2021, with an RRP of £6.
