Ole & Steen’s NEW Christmas Collection
Ole & Steen, Danish Bakery and Coffee House, is welcoming the festive season with a menu full of warming flavours and seasonal twists on bakery favourites. Launching across all stores on 4th November, the new collection spans indulgent bakes, hearty savouries and festive drinks, alongside limited-edition gifts to bring a touch of Scandinavian hygge to the holidays.
Festive highlights include the Gingerbread Social, a seasonal twist on Ole & Steen’s most iconic pastry, layered with gingerbread butter, custard and crumble, and topped with a golden gingerbread man. The Honey Heart – a traditional Danish Christmas delicacy dating back centuries, often exchanged as tokens of love and friendship – is dipped in rich dark chocolate and finished with dried raspberries, making it a thoughtful gift with a story. Alongside this, the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Mince Pie serve as perfect centrepieces for festive gatherings at home. The Christmas Tree Muffin, topped with cream cheese icing and a chocolate tree, is an unmissable wintertime indulgence (and destined for the festive feed).
For a cosy winter lunch, the Turkey Toastie – back by popular demand after receiving a coveted 5-star Christmas Star Buy from BBC Good Food – brings together roast turkey, sprouts, bacon and cranberry slaw. For a hearty plant-based option, the Festive Mushroom Melt offers the perfect seasonal alternative. A new Fig & Goat Cheese Danish provides a savoury-sweet snack for sharing, and the Christmas Star Bread is a festive take on Ole & Steen’s signature sourdough: the perfect addition to festive spreads. Perfect for warming cold hands, Ole & Steen’s festive drinks range includes the Gingerbread Latte, Caramelised Almond Latte, Caramelised Almond Matcha Latte, and a rich Gingerbread Hot Chocolate.
This winter, the bakery’s traditions extend into the art of gifting, with limited-edition treasures designed to bring hygge beyond the bakery and into your stocking. Returning by popular demand, the Cinnamon Social Socks are back with a brand new design – soft and snug in a festive knit with a playful cinnamon swirl motif. The hyper-seasonal Jul Candle, created in partnership with Scandinavian fragrance house Skandinavisk, is poured into a frosted glass jar etched with Nordic-inspired graphics. Its glowing flame and aromatic blend embody the cosiness of Christmas evenings. With notes of baked gingerbread, winter cloves, spiced oranges, and mulled wine, it is the perfect accompaniment to the festive Gingerbread Social. And for something sweet, the Cinnamon Social Chocolate Bar – crafted with Danish made, fairtrade Mellow Chocolate – comes wrapped in understated yet elegant packaging, its rich dark chocolate infused with cinnamon for a treat that’s as indulgent as it is beautifully presented.

Ole & Steen, which began as Lagkagehuset in Denmark – a bakery concept built on artisanry, quality, and a deep respect for Danish tradition – have recently won a Great Taste Two Star Award for their much-loved Chia Rye.
