HSSH LAUNCHES PHYSIOTHERAPY PRACTICE

The Harley Street Specialist Hospital (HSSH), the new consultant-led hospital in the heart of London’s Harley Street Medical Area, is to open a dedicated physiotherapy practice.

With a focus on delivering exemplary patient experience, HSSH is a leading independent hospital for those patients who wish to experience first-class care in day-case surgery. The new in-house physiotherapy team will offer services for post-operative, post-trauma, and more long-term problems that need management and specialist exercise to improve range of motion.

HSSH will offer physiotherapy 5 days per week to support patients before and after surgery. Supporting the hospital’s ethos of concierge-style service patients are encouraged to take charge of their health and make positive steps to reduce pain, increase mobility and start to feel better alleviating symptoms and helping a patient’s confidence and overall wellbeing.

The physiotherapy team have extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy. They are trained to evaluate and improve the movement and function of the body creating the correct treatment pathway for the patient. Physiotherapy services include:
