Modern Italian restaurant est has re-opened after a major refurbishment and introduction of an innovative new menu.
For almost twenty years est has been celebrated for bringing modern Italian cuisine to Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
The popular restaurant’s expert chefs are renowned for serving the finest dishes Italy has to offer, including rustic pizzas, classic pastas, vibrant salads and regional grill dishes.
At est every dish is cooked fresh to order, the Italian bread selection is delivered daily from a local bakery, the Chocolate Brownie is baked daily by the Pastry Chef Adriano and the Sea bream is delivered fresh daily.
The Trafford Centre est is also loved for serving up authentic spritz cocktails, exclusive fine wines, Italian craft beers and Italian barista coffees.
Now est, the authentic Italian restaurant, has re-opened after getting a full brand refresh which took over eight weeks during the spring.
The refurbishment is designed to make sure est always offers the best in Italian dining in the most comfortable atmosphere.
The extensive works included modernising est’s décor, improving the restaurant area for guests as well as investing in the kitchen.
The Italian inspired restaurant is now an even better place to stop by on your next shopping trip, and choose to unwind in the peaceful haven inside, or dine al fresco come rain or shine in the covered outside seating area.
Fresh focused est, in the heart of Manchester’s busy Trafford Centre, has also introduced a truly special menu that delivers flavour, satisfaction and innovation with every dish.
est proudly serves pizzas, with dough that’s made daily in-house using the finest Italian 00 flour, as well as the wide selection of both classic and modern pasta dishes brought to life with fresh ingredients direct from Italy.

The restaurant looks amazing, the food is superb, and the team can’t wait to get back! With the current pressures facing the hospitality industry, it is a privilege to be able to invest in our people and our restaurants.”
est will be hosting a special Chef’s Table media event on the June 30 to celebrate the opening and showcase the best of est’s fresh-focused authentic Italian food with Executive Chef Adrian Chmiel.
Some of Adrian’s delicious dishes to include the Pan-Fried Prawns starter which is in a delicious chilli and lobster sauce that’s made in-house with onions, white wine, cream, bechamel sauce, lemon, and lobster extract.
The Goat’s Cheese Panna Cotta starter is made every day in-house, they start by setting the rosemary on fire, then drop the burnt rosemary into the cream to infuse the flavour.
The Mushroom & Taleggio pizza is made with this beautifully soft and creamy cheese, coming from Val Taleggio, a valley in the province of Bergamo.
The homemade Lasagne has an incredible five layers of pasta, built with their secret recipe ragu, bechamel sauce, mozzarella and Grana Padano.
The creamy Prawn Risotto has a lovely Mediterranean twist using saffron, prawns, chorizo and a lobster broth.
Tiramisu is their ‘homemade speciality’ made in-house with a secret twist.
Amatriciana features their homemade pomodoro sauce using naturally sweet Pelati tomatoes from Southern Italy, olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil. As well as their hand-sliced crispy guanciale, think luxury pancetta, and chilli.
The homemade Gnocchi is deliciously light as it’s made with premium Italian “00” flour, fresh ricotta, and Pecorino Romano, a creamy salty hard sheep cheese from Rome. Served with their homemade Cacio e Pepe sauce.
