Emmanuelle Khanh & Maitrepierre collaborate for AW22 / 23

Having become an iconic accessory in the Maitrepierre wardrobe, “Le Peigne” reappears this season in a stunning new colour option. The couture solar model is evolved in a deep, luxurious and joyful pearly pink.

Eva Gaumé, artistic director of the House continues her creative collaboration with Alphonse Maitrepierre during the FW 22-23 fashion show, presented this Sunday March 6 at the Climate Academy in Paris. A collection that embodies the very particular aesthetics of the designer, a hybrid vision of contemporary couture, in which Le Peigne is clearly a part of.

“The collaboration between Emmanuelle Khanh and Maitrepierre is the result of a rare creative encounter between Alphonse and me. For this first official show on the PFW calendar, it was a joy to affirm this deep bond between our brands.” Eva Gaume

Le Peigne glasses are created in a limited edition, in Oyonnax, the historic French home of artisan eyewear, in cellulose acetate, an organic material obtained by plasticising cotton flakes and wood cellulose acetate.

The pink pearly tortoiseshell is made exclusively in France for Emmanuelle Khanh by the leading French acetate manufacturer. The piece playfully combines eyewear and hairstyling know-how for a beautiful, rare handcrafted product.
