The experts at SaveOnEnergy.com/uk were intrigued to find out which cleaning job was the most popular on Tik Tok. To do this SaveOnEnergy searched the spring clean essentials and ranked them from most viewed to least to determine which jobs’ hacks were most popular.

SaveOnEnergy.com/uk can reveal the spring-cleaning job that is generating the most views on TikTok are toilet cleaning with over 271 million views.
A popular trend is applying a colourful vibrant toilet cleaner all around the bowl and then layering it with a foam cleaner on top. Using a toilet brush to mix and scrub it all together before flushing the chain and watching it wash away, you are left with a sparkling clean toilet bowl!
In second place is the job of cleaning the sink, with a whopping 146 million views and counting! A video that’s popular on the platform shows a sink being deep cleaned with just fairy liquid and powder cleaner. The cleaner covers her sink in fairy liquid and the powder cleaner and adds a tiny splash of water, she then scrubs using a sponge until the liquid and powder have mixed and covered the sink. After she washes it away with water, she is left with a sparkling, spotless clean sink.
Placing third is the spring-cleaning chore of cleaning your kitchen, generating more than 56 million views. A popular trend shows how to clean a rusted cast iron, which is simply done using a full sink of distilled white vinegar and letting it soak for an hour!
Rounding off the top 10 is the cleaning chore of cleaning our dishwashers with 1.3 million views! A tip that can help get rid of the smell your dishwasher may possess, is to rinse the filter with water, clean the door seals and filter areas with white vinegar and then place a tupperware box of vinegar in the top shelf, baking soda in the bottom shelf, and run for a full cycle!
