Capacity increased for CPD sessions at 100% Optical

The popularity of the world-class education programme at 100% Optical has meant organisers have increased the capacity for a number of the lectures and workshops which will run from January 22nd to 24th 2022.

In collaboration with the AOP, the three-day show will feature more than 130 sessions including a mix of lectures, workshops and peer discussions across 10 different education hubs, earning attendees valuable CPD points.

Sessions available include:

Post COVID recovery of ophthalmology services in partnership with community optometry

‘Don’t look back in anger’ – exploring what is meant by competence, how to work to it, what that means for the future of optometric practice and how responsibility might evolve with technology. The lecture will also consider how this might impact on the current challenges facing the NHS and waiting lists

Ultra-widefield retinal imaging 2.0: A step-by-step guide to reviewing and interpreting pathology and disease

‘It’s a digital world’ – contact lens and dry eye management in the 21st century

‘The story of comfort’ – unpacking key details to help minimise contact lens drop-outs

‘New technology – new pathology’. Multimodal imaging as an enhancement to standard retinal examinations

As well as the opportunity for personal and professional development, there will also be thousands of new products on display at 100% Optical, and advice on all aspects of running a practice will be available, looking at how businesses can prepare to take advantage of changes in an industry that is constantly evolving.

There’s still time to register your free place at 100% Optical and book into the CPD programme – register now.

The largest optical event in the UK will return to ExCeL London from 22nd to 24th January 2022 and will be the first major optical event since the start of the global pandemic.
