The theme in Bolton, was ‘Fun Days Out’ to celebrate children’s right to play.

The square was packed with a variety of games such as football darts, Bubble Football, giant Snakes and Ladders, draughts and chess. There was an arena with young people showing off their signing, dancing and musical talents.

“Bolton Play Day was a huge success and despite a few spells of rain nothing could dampen the spirits for this brilliant event,” said Cllr Christine Wild, Executive Cabinet Member for Children’s Services People Directorate.

“A big thank you must go to our partners who helped to make this event a success.”
