World First Covid Health Passport Unveiled in Manchester
Today, the Dental Surgery in Salford welcomes the world’s first Vhealth passport, it will be issued to enable every individual to validate their Covid-19 status. This protocol is also to be replicated to allow people to travel safely on public transport and airlines, as well as to attend sports and entertainment events.
VST Enterprises is currently using the same technology to work with the UNITED NATIONS as part of their SDG Collaboratory (Sustainable Development Goals) program – to provide a wide range of technology services to 9 Billion people by 2030, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Vhealth passport is a world first, providing an end to end solution to manage risk of infection in the post-pandemic world. This programme is going to be scaled up to allow dentists and other clinicians to increase the number of appointments per day that can be carried out safely. The testing and passport will cost under £20.
The holder of a health passport will be able to present proof that they are free from the COVID 19 virus from their smartphone, key fob or lanyard printout, which can be scanned from outside the 2m safe distance zone. The fully closed and secure system, which prompts regular updates, will indicate the person’s current health status using traffic light colours, green, amber and red. Individuals will be able to confidently access venues, stadiums, shopping centres, cinemas, and airports as well as their workplaces. Managers of these venues using the system, will be able to promise that their site is COVID free.
Jack Latus, Managing Director of Latus Health who is delivering the technology with VST Enterprises, is excited about the potential to facilitate the opening up of public and workspaces and get UK PLC working.
He said, “We are very happy about the possibilities this technology offers our customers and organisations around the world. During the outbreak we have been delivering the largest scale private COVID-19 testing programme in the UK and supporting the testing requirements of our global customers. We have been looking for the perfect ‘health-passport’ technology to allow us to validate and verify individual’s infection status, and VST have proved to be in a league-of-their-own with the Vhealth passports. Partnering with VST Enterprises has opened up a world of opportunity for us to deliver testing on an even larger scale – Immediately.
This partnership has created the all-in-one test and track system; highly accurate, rapid testing and integrated, seamless health validation passports are key to refilling stadiums and arenas, getting employees back to work and keeping people safe on aeroplanes. We believe this protocol holds the key to reconnecting people, the economy and taking the world off pause.’
Once registered, users are tested for COVID by a trained technician. Once cleared, their passport is set to green for go. Each user is assigned a VCode® through an award winning, patented technology solution created and protected by VST Enterprises®. The system is a closed loop, which means that all information flows through the central system that is end- to- end encrypted. All patient information is secured and completely private. The only information that shows on the health passport is the user’s name, photo ID and the health status indicator colour.
The system reminds users when it is time to have the next follow up test, which maintains their health passport as valid in live time. Because the passport is very quick to scan, managing the movement of large numbers of people entering work or public spaces will be straightforward. VCode® is up to ten times faster than other image recognition technologies. Latus Health with VSTE predicts that public confidence will increase with this reliable and safe means to conduct safety checks and control for the virus.
The system is ready to use and the setup is fully supported for all governments, enterprises and businesses that would like to use it.
