Top 10 most Insta-worthy desserts:

Crowned the most popular dessert on Instagram are Churros – crispy on the outside, but super soft on the inside – not forgetting the cinnamon sugar and melted chocolate. With more than 2.6 million tags, this Spanish dessert is a hit around the world.

Principally from the US and the UK, in second place is none other than the age-old classic apple pie, with 2,531,435 hashtags on Instagram! It’s a classic for a reason.

All the way from the US and Canada is a popular go-to for happy campers – s’mores. This dessert comprising of toasted marshmallows and a layer of chocolate placed in between two pieces of graham crackers is a firm crowd pleaser with more than 2.5 million hashtags.

Rounding off the top 10 is pavlova, named after the Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. With Kiwi and Aussie origins, this dessert has garnered 1,223,950 Instagram hashtags.
