What’s on this November at Sonata
This November we have a packed programme, with live music 7 nights a week. We’re open from 5pm every day, so pop in after work or after visiting the Christmas markets and sample one of the new drinks on our Winter menu!
We’re delighted to welcome back star of Bad Girls and Emmerdale Nicole Faraday, sharing her glorious voice with Eva Cassidy, Carpenters and many other classics. Fresh from her appearance this weekend on BBC One’s I Can See Your Voice, Laura Mac performs an intimate show of pop hits and musical theatre.
November sees multi-talented Olivier Award-winner James Lomas join us for a Friday full of favourite hits. Also making their Sonata debut this month, Gypsies of Bohemia bring their foot-stomping fun traditional Gypsy jazz and some surprising contemporary pop, and singer-songwriter Callum Feeney performs classics and lesser-known gems.
We present more up-and-coming talent, welcoming piano-vocal duo Anna Willison-Holt & Georgia Clark and a unique cabaret showcase from To Bee Productions, while Nicki Allan presents some of the finest talent from the Royal Northern College of Music. We’re also thrilled to welcome back the stunning Adelaide Taylor, piano-sax duo Sam Lightwing & Max Rosen and guitar-vocal swing duo Arden Sky.
Don’t miss the sensational soul singer Yemi Bolatiwa, and we’re excited that both The Gelatos and The Nightcreatures are returning to Sonata before headlining our New Year’s Eve Party!
Finally, see below for some great ideas for Christmas presents including the new Sonata gift experience cards, or treat a loved one to tickets for some special shows coming up in the new year.
