Wearwell Partners with Veteran-Run Charity Carma Earth in the Fight Against Climate Change

The UK’s leading manufacturer of workwear, Wearwell (UK) Ltd has partnered with the veteran-run charity Carma Earth to further intensify its contribution to the fight against climate change.

With a mission to remove 1 billion tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere Carma Earth facilitates a range of tree planting initiatives across the UK. It works in collaboration with the Green Task Force to support environmental sustainability and offer meaningful employment opportunities to veterans, a cause that deeply resonates with both Wearwell and Carma Earth’s founders.

Wearwell, which is already well known for its commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices, will support Carma Earth’s tree planting initiatives through various means, including financial contributions and the integration of Carma Earth’s mission into its own business operations.

By empowering individuals and businesses to act, Carma Earth aims to make it easier than ever for people to contribute to a more sustainable future and experience the joy that comes with doing good.

“We are thrilled to partner with Carma Earth in their noble mission to remove 1 billion tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere,” said Richard Wright, CEO of Wearwell. “At Wearwell, reducing our carbon footprint is at the core of everything we do, and this partnership allows us to further extend our commitment to making a positive impact on the planet. We specifically chose Carma Earth because of the support they provide to veterans – not only in running the charity, but by the use of veterans for tree planting to offer a pathway to meaningful employment. By joining forces with Carma Earth, we believe we can make a tangible difference and inspire others to take action.”
