I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here finalist and popular Radio 1 DJ Jordan North has teamed up with McDonald’s to show his fans how he has been spending his lockdown days since the castle.

On Sunday, he posted a hilarious video on his Instagram, in which North is seen nervously preparing for a dinner date… Only to find out his date is McDonald’s new Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets.

Taking social media by storm, the video has already received over 160k views and almost 400 comments. His fellow Radio 1 DJ Ali Plumb and I Sexted My Boss podcast colleagues have also been quick to comment on it, with Ali bringing attention to the fact that Jordan finally seems to have a sofa and his podcast mates saying how many people must be wishing to be one of the Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets in the video.

North’s famous ‘elephant’ counting made it to the video, as he tries not to look too keen to his delivery driver by counting ‘one elephant… two elephant…’ by the door when his food arrives.

Known for his love of food from his Castle days, North is seen giving up on the conventional ways of using chopsticks after many failed attempts, instead, he chooses to stab the nuggets with just one chopstick to tuck in.

McDonald’s launched its limited-edition Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets on the 30^th of December. Made with 100% chicken breast meat in a crispy Katsu Curry panko breadcrumb coating and served with McDonald’s classic scrumptious Sweet Curry dip, Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets have been extremely popular with McDonald’s fans.

If you want to try them then you’ll have to be quick, as they’re around for just six weeks. McDonald’s restaurants remain open for McDelivery and drive-thru, and Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets are available in 6, 9 and 20 piece options to order.
