US travel ban to lift: American roller coasters with the biggest drops
Whether you are an adrenaline junkie, casual coaster indulger or someone who prefers to hold the bags and watch, there are a number of exciting rides and coasters across America.
Car rental experts at StressFreeCarRental.com have created a map of the roller coasters with the biggest drops across America following the announcement fully vaccinated travellers from the UK and most European Union (EU) countries will be able to enter the US from early November.
With news the US travel ban will soon be lifted, theme park lovers from the UK looking for American thrill rides will not be disappointed.
American coaster drops can reach heights as tall as 400 feet, with speeds reaching a toe-curling 128 mph in a matter of 3.5 seconds.
Despite roller coasters having origins in Europe, theme parks have become a true American institution for fun and adventure, with the States producing a number of record-busting coasters.
The immense popularity for thrill-inducing rides pushes roller coaster designers to create even more intense constructions.
A spokesman for StressFreeCarRental.com said: “Theme parks are a place of excitement for millions, with many thrill seekers looking for the biggest, best and most exciting coasters in America.
“Our map showcases the amazing attractions across the country, with coasters that have the biggest drop often also being the fastest and most exciting rides available to theme park lovers.”
