Trustees issue reminder of final date for applications to We Love Manchester Emergency Fund

Trustees for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund are issuing a final reminder that the last date for people to apply for funding is Sunday 30 September.

The charity, set up to support the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack which happened on 22 May 2017, has raised £21.3m for those who were bereaved, seriously physically injured, or suffered psychological trauma.

£20.7m of this total, raised in partnership with the Manchester Evening News and the British Red Cross, has already been allocated.  The Fund’s trustees are keen to distribute the remaining money, but before they can do so, they need to make sure that everyone who is eligible for funding and wishes to claim has had the opportunity to do so.

The charity is encouraging anyone who meets the criteria for support but has not yet claimed to email [email protected], by Sunday 30 September 2018.

The full criteria can be found at www.manchesteremergencyfund.com/about.
