Today, Theta Global Advisors, a big firm disruptor in the accountancy and consulting markets, has announced the hire of Patrick Hopkins as Associate Director to lead their Systems Implementation practice.

Patrick brings a wealth of experience as an Oracle professional and has supported many clients across diverse industries and geographical markets, implementing both Oracle’s Cloud and E-Business Suite solutions and other software ERP and HCM systems.

His twenty-plus years of experience includes 16 years with Oracle’s own consulting organisation within the UK as a Solution Architect and Lead Consultant. In this role, Patrick was responsible for a number of ground-breaking projects including the first successful Oracle cloud SaaS implementation of financials and supply chain for a UK Council and the implementation of E-Business suite for the UK Central Government, the largest Oracle implementation globally by transaction volume.

Patrick is very well versed in the skills and commitment required to ensure a successful system implementation, from pre-sale through the project itself, into the challenges of “going live” and on to post go-live support and system upgrades and testing. He brings a pragmatic approach to resolving complex business issues and is bringing these skills to Theta Global Advisors to lead their Systems Implementation practice to truly challenge the outdated approach in this market.
