THE UNITED JOB: Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Liqueur pokes fun at Manchester United’s managerial turmoil as Rúben Amorim set to take the poisoned chalice
Ahhh, the United job. It sounds like heaven, but it’s bound to burn like hell… just ask Erik Ten Hag (or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, or Ralf Ragnick, or David Moyes, for that matter).
With all good football sources reporting that Rúben Amorim is set to be the next victim of the seemingly cursed role, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Liqueur (aka: Fireball) unleashed a giant billboard outside Old Trafford this morning to mark the occasion. The message, reading ‘The United Job: Sounds like heaven, burns like hell’ acts as a reality check (and a good luck message, we guess?) to senhor Amorim.
As for the United fans out there, although times are tough right now, here’s to new beginnings! Fireball is offering all United supporters and football fans the chance to head to Mojo Bar (59A Bridge Street, M3 3BQ) for a much-needed free shot ahead of tonight’s fixture against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.
The mobile billboard will parade its way around Manchester this afternoon taking in the sights and sounds of the city, with fans able to visit Mojo Bar at 59A Bridge Street from 5PM to claim a free shot of Fireball (one per person).*
Lorenzo Farronato, European Marketing Director for Fireball said : “As the next stage of Manchester United’s managerial saga appears to be almost decided, we’re thrilled to be able to give United fans something to spice up the occasion with our friends at Mojo Bar.”
“We want to wish the manager the best of luck in their new role and to let them know that Fireball is here for any celebrations (or commiserations) that come with the next rollercoaster era of club leadership.
A shot of Fireball will unquestionably ignite the night, but can it ignite the Red Devils and turn their season around? Probably not, but time will tell.
*One shot per person. Available from 5pm on October 30th only while stocks last until a maximum tab of £480 is met.
