THE FRATELLIS will be bringing their raucous live show to this Summer’s Blackpool Live season.

Presented by Scruff of the Neck, this brand new live music series will be bringing some of the nation’s best loved alternative acts to Blackpool’s iconic Winter Gardens.

One of the most anticipated headline shows of the series will come courtesy of Scottish indie-rock renegades: The Fratellis, who will make their Blackpool Live debut on Friday 21 August. Support will come from Brummie indie favourites The Twang, plus alternative scene risers The Lilacs and The Cheap Thrills.

Bursting onto the scene with their blistering debut album, ‘Costello Music’ in 2006, The Fratellis grabbed the nation with a debut record filled to the brim with catchy riffs and brash vocals. Featuring some of the band’s most enduring tracks, including the cheeky “Henrietta”, the slightly softer “Whistle for the Choir”, and the truly iconic “Chelsea Dagger”, the band have since cemented their reputation as one of most prominent and best loved indie acts to emerge from Scotland with six celebrated albums under their belts. Earlier this year, almost two decades on from their debut outing, The Fratellis took ‘Costello Music’ back out on the road to celebrate the 20-year anniversary. With a festival ready set of fiery favourites, find them primed and ready to take the roof off Blackpool Live when they come to town this August.

On the night, The Fratellis will be amply supported by special guests: The Twang. Since forming in 2004, these Birmingham favourites have established themselves as one of the defining indie bands of the mid-2000s British music scene. Announcing themselves onto the national stage in 2007 with their breakout single “Either Way” (which cracked the UK Top 10), it preceded a landmark No.3 debut album, ‘Love It When I Feel Like This’ which has since achieved platinum certification. Nearly two decades and five studio albums later, The Twang continue to delight fans new and old with their high-octane live shows and crowd connection at their rave received live shows. Grab a slice of the action at Blackpool Winter Gardens this Summer.

Earlier in the day, don’t miss a vital opportunity to catch next-big-things The Lilacs and The Cheap Thrills, as they kickstart this packed day of music in fervent fashion.
