Brad Pitt’s appearance as Monica’s high school friend Will in season eight of the legendary sitcom Friends is the best cameo in the show’s history, according to new research.

Analysis conducted by mobile casino guide MapleCasino.ca studied the episodes of Friends which featured guest stars and scored them based on how they influenced ratings compared to the season average.

The analysis found that Brad Pitt’s cameo as Will is top of the list by a large margin, with the episode he appears in currently sitting at a 9.3/10 on IMDb. The episode is rated at nearly a full point higher than the average IMDb score for the season, which is 8.4 out of 10.

At the time of the episode, Pitt was married to the sitcom’s star Jennifer Aniston, and ‘The One With The Rumour’ has the seventh highest score of all Friends episodes.

In second place is Victoria’s Secret model Jill Goodacre’s cameo as herself in season one. She made a surprise appearance in the episode ‘The One With The Blackout’ after becoming trapped in an ATM vestibule with Chandler Bing. The episode was one of the most viewed in the show’s first season, with more than 23 million US viewers tuning in to watch on its premiere in 1994.
