Supersized Celebrations: Brits Embrace Larger-than-Life Festivities This Christmas

New research has revealed 60% of Brits are gearing up to go BIG this Christmas making the holiday season of 2024 one filled with oversized festive fun,
playful kitsch décor and nostalgic charm.

The research from the UK’s No.1 cheese snack Babybel has revealed that a whopping 85% of Brits are turning back the clock and decking their halls with retro
décor. Whilst 72% plan on embracing ‘kitchmas’ trends with a sense of fun that is anything but understated.

But it’s not about spending big with 87% of us claiming it’s about capturing the larger-than-life spirit of the holiday, and over two thirds (68%) planning
on going big by spending time with friends and family.

The research comes following the announcement of the return of the
Maxi Babybel, which is 10x bigger than normal Mini Babybels… perfect for Christmas cheese boards, which 22% of those polled said they plan on going big with this Christmas!

on social channels reaching almost 400k views to date. The research found nearly a quarter (24%) of consumers look forward to seasonal and limited-edition products each year.

The survey also revealed the other ways us Brits plan to go big are donning matching festive pyjama sets (31%), garish Christmas jumpers (41%) and indulging
in cheesy Christmas tunes (56%) and movies (59%).

According to the research the capital is expected to go the biggest at Christmas, but all British towns From Blackpool to Brighton have big plans to transform
their homes and communities into festive wonderlands.

From London, chosen by 61% of those who picked it as going biggest, for its enchanting lights and Christmas displays, to Manchester and Birmingham, where
people flock to enjoy the festive spirit at the Christmas Markets, The Big Cheese tour will bring joy and tasty treats directly to the heart of these festive communities.
