Colleagues at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Manchester were joined by friends and family on for the site’s annual summer get-together, held in recognition of the team’s efforts serving customers across the UK.

The celebration, held at Birchwood Park, featured top carnival fair ride attractions like the Freakout & Highflyer from around the country, as well as games, arcades, fair stalls, and unlimited entertainment for the staff and their families, giving employees the chance to unwind and reconnect with colleagues outside of their usual working day.

Sam Wright, who works at Amazon in Manchester was among those enjoying the festivities:

“Our associates and staff work really hard all year round so it is great to bring everyone to enjoy a day out with their families and team together. Bringing the family along made it feel like a proper celebration rather than just another work event. Thank you, Amazon!”
