Studio Graphene launches product delivery platform Pulse
Studio Graphene has launched Pulse, its new proprietary technology platform to enhance project delivery.
Founded in 2014, Studio Graphene designs and builds digital products for a global client base ranging from scaleups to multinational corporations. It has a team of more than 130 strategists, designers, engineers and product managers working out of its London headquarters and studios in Delhi, Lisbon and Geneva.
Pulse has been designed and built in-house to create the best environment for building digital products. The platform tracks and measures performance across every stage of the product development lifecycle, allowing Studio Graphene to gain a deep understanding of its delivery process, tackling pain points and maintaining best practices across project management, quality assurance and development.
For instance, Pulse can detect a defect reopen rate in a project – meaning issues that were thought to be fixed keep reappearing – and raise this as a potential inefficiency. The team can then investigate whether the problem is due to unclear requirements, insufficient testing or another factor, allowing them to act and improve their processes.
By consolidating data from tools like GitHub and Jira, Pulse provides a clear view of performance trends, helping teams make informed decisions and continuously refine their delivery approach.
There is no intention to spin Pulse out into a platform that other organisations can pay to use. It has been launched as an internal tool so Studio Graphene can enhance its product delivery capabilities, underscoring its commitment to improve efficiency, standards and client outcomes.
Peter Zinovieff is a Senior Product Manager at Studio Graphene and led on the development of Pulse. He said: “Pulse was born out of necessity. Existing project management tools simply do not have the depth or functionality we need to make meaningful progress in our productivity and quality. So, we’ve created something from scratch that pulls in the most important data and metrics so we can effectively track the product delivery lifecycle, rapidly identify and resolve challenges, and create better products. It’s great to see Pulse alive and kicking, and the early feedback from the team and clients has been resoundingly positive.”
Ritam Gandhi, Founder and Director of Studio Graphene, added: “As a digital product studio, when your core focus is always on delivering for clients, it speaks volumes that we’ve invested in developing our own proprietary technology. Peter and the team have done a brilliant job in creating a platform that our engineers and product managers are using and seeing benefits from every week. This is another important step forward for us as a business, and I’ve no doubt that it’s going to add significant value to our team and our clients.”
