One of the UK’s leading suppliers of luxury home products, Lusso Stone, has been ranked as the fastest growing medium business in the North-East.

Founded in 2014, Lusso Stone has supplied its signature stone baths, basins and hardware to some of the world’s most luxurious resorts including Claridge’s in London, Sugar Beach Resort in St Lucia, and the Equinox Hotel in New York.

The company has now won official recognition for its speed of growth in the highly regarded Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 Awards for 2021.

Ward Hadaway has been recognising outstanding business achievements since the launch of the awards in 1998, showcasing business talent across the North East, Yorkshire and the North West.

Every year, it announces a compilation of 50 private-owned, profitable businesses that have experienced the largest annual growth rate in their turnover per each region, with three annual awards for small, medium and large companies.

Lusso Stone has won top spot this year for the medium business category with an average turnover growth exceeding 69%, coming third overall out of 50 businesses recognised. The luxury bathroom retailer has now maintained its place in the Fast Track 100 league for three consecutive years.

Despite a challenging year, the company saw sales grow during the pandemic, reaching £16.5m in the year to September, up an average of 57% a year over the past two years, securing their place on the list.
