Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for ‘Meghan and Harry Podcast’ exploded 248% worldwide on the 30th of January, after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a a statement regarding the Spotify controversy, expressing their concerns at the spread of misinformation surrounding COVID-19.
A new finding by Bed Kingdom reveals that online searches for ‘Meghan and Harry Podcast’ skyrocketed to over twice the average volume in the past week, an unprecedented spike in people Googling for the highly anticipated Archewell Audio podcast, according to analysis of Google search data.
The world famous couple, who signed an £18 million deal with Spotify to create the Archewell Audio podcast, had a spokesperson weigh in on the Spotify and Joe Rogan debate, stating: “We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify to ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health crisis.”
