Searches for ‘Gucci X North Face Puffer Jacket’ skyrocket by 1,351%, following new campaign with Francis Bourgeois
New analysis of Google search data shows online searches for ‘Gucci X North Face Puffer Jacket’ exploded by 1,351% in the UK, on the 18th of January as Gucci’s collaboration with North Face was released featuring TikTok trainspotting star, Francis Bourgeois at Oakworth Railway Station.
New analysis by creative resource Design Bundles, found that searches for the designer collaboration of the puffer jacket have risen almost fourteen times the average searches, according to Google trends data. This rise in searches is expected to be caused by Francis being featured in the promotional video.
Research had also found an increase in search rate over eight times the average Google search for ‘Buy North Face’, showing a rise in interest for the brand after showcasing items of their clothing with Gucci in the advert.
A spokesperson from Design Bundles said “Since Francis Bourgeois’ trainspotting TikTok account went viral, it makes sense that brands such as Gucci and North Face would be eager to have him as the face of their campaign.
This collaboration has the potential to open up the fashion brands to new and younger audiences, as well as catapulting Francis Bourgeois to even greater fame outside of the relam of social media.”
