Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for ‘chair purse’ skyrocketed 1,300% worldwide on Wednesday 24th November, the day that the fourth season of Selling Sunset aired, and Season 1 featured Christine Quinn carrying a purse in the shape of a diamante encrusted-chair mini chair on a strap, with no space to hold anything.

A new finding by eachnight.comreveals that online searches for ‘chair purse’ skyrocketed to 11 times the average volume in one day, after Season 4 of Selling Sunset aired. The chair purse, by New York fashion brand Area, was first debuted at a runway show in 2020, and is available to buy for $895.
