SAUDIA launches winter flight schedule for the UK and increases capacity

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has officially launched their winter flight schedule for the UK with more capacity than ever before. SAUDIA offers direct flights from London and Manchester to Jeddah and Riyadh several times per week, giving UK guests great flexibility when travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

From October onwards, SAUDIA connects London Heathrow with Riyadh twice daily – a route on which business traffic has increased considerably. The London Heathrow to Jeddah route will continue to be offered daily and is a popular connection for leisure travelers. Flights from Manchester have increased to match the pre-pandemic level, from four times per week to five.

Saudi Arabia is the perfect destination for a sunny winter getaway with temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees during the winter months. Jeddah, located at the coast of the Red Sea, invites visitors to explore the multi-vibrant cultures, the exquisite cuisine and the historical Al Balad district, a UNESCO world heritage site. Riyadh welcomes guest to explore the city’s fascinating centuries-old history as well as the modern metropolis with its skyscrapers and contemporary art scene.

SAUDIA also offers convenient onwards connections from Riyadh and Jeddah. Some of the top onwards destinations from the UK include Pakistan, the Philippines and Bangladesh.

Mr. Hisham Bindkhail, Regional SAUDIA Manager in Europe: “The UK is an important market and we are very proud to connect Saudi Arabia and the UK by offering flights every day of the week.
