Ronaldo’s departure is the wake up call Manchester United needs – peak performance coach

Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombshell interview and sudden departure from Manchester United is the wake-up call the club needs, according to peak performance coach Moses Nalocca.

Moses works with top athletes to help them achieve their goals and has been watching Ronaldo’s career closely. He believes Ronaldo’s criticism of United was inevitable and a sign of his authenticity and high standards.

Moses says: “Ronaldo has always been someone who is constantly raising the bar, demanding high standards of himself and those around him. He is always totally authentic and he had got to the point where he couldn’t stand the level of mediocrity and falling standards at Manchester United.

“Ronaldo is always looking to improve  – his competition isn’t other players, it is himself, he always wants to get better. His criticism is probably the best gift he could have given the club as it is the wake-up call they need to make real change and drive standards up again.”

Moses added that while he was sad to see Ronaldo leave United, he believes the move won’t damage his career and that we still haven’t seen the best of him. He can talk about why he thinks Ronaldo felt he had no choice but to publicly criticize the club’s leadership and why people shouldn’t confuse his clarity and awareness with arrogance.
