Pretzel Group Expands B2B Portfolio with New Client Win

a PR and digital agency based in Adlington, has expanded its B2B client roster, with the brief of raising awareness of how many companies could be missing out on thousands of pounds in tax credits for research and development projects.

The agency has added Research and Development Specialists Ltd (RDS), which has offices based in Altrincham and Leicester, to its expanding client portfolio.

RDS was set up to help businesses navigate the HMRC Tax Incentive, which is a government scheme created to stimulate innovation.

RDS has successfully helped £23million to be invested back into 500 UK businesses since it was set up five years ago and with the help of Pretzel Group has set ambitious
targets to further expand its reach in the next financial year.

Becki Wiper, cofounder of Pretzel Group explains more about the brief and the client:

“We’ve been tasked not just with raising the profile of the company, which we believe to be one of the most transparent and reliable operators in its field, but also raising
awareness of R&D as a whole, promoting the fact that many, many businesses in the UK could be eligible for tax relief credits but haven’t yet submitted a claim.

“From our initial research in the field, we’ve found that although successful R&D tax credit claims are up 19% YOY, there is still very little awareness about the scheme
as a legitimate and lucrative business incentive.

“Some business owners are suspicious or doubt that they will be eligible, others simply don’t know it exists, but with the average claim standing at £53,000 there are
countless organisations in the region and beyond that are missing out on a very real cash injection. We look forward to educating and building awareness across the country.”
