Presenting an evening of live music with Elisa Imperilee and Amie K on Monday 15th November

Ditto Coffee has announced a special event on Monday 15th November in Shoreditch.

They will host two vibrant artists – Elisa Imperilee and Amie K – who perform live at their intimate setting, heralding the beginning of a season of live music taking place through winter and into 2022.

Ditto Coffee has crafted its unique focus around blending music and coffee together. It’s the young fledgling of Ditto Music which started back in 2005, a champion of independent music through distribution, management and record label services for over 500,000 independent artists. Founders (and brothers) Matt and Lee Parsons have channelled their passion for artists and bands and filtered that through their love of good coffee, going on to create Ditto Coffee from their first café opening Liverpool in 2018 to 4 locations presently and more in development for the coming year.

Matt and Lee say: “When we started Ditto Music in our flat over 10 years ago, it was endless great cups of coffee which got us through each day. Now that we have built Ditto into a worldwide brand that champions independent music, supports artists and aims to create a fairer music industry, we introduced Ditto Coffee to the UK in London’s Shoreditch, two sites in Manchester and the very first Ditto Coffee in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. We have been lucky to travel with our work and always knew coffee is an integral part of our work, so the idea was developed to combine great coffee with our passion for new independent music.”

Natasha Murphy, Ditto Coffee’s Head of Operation, adds: “After the challenges and delays brought by COVID-19, we are thrilled with our latest addition to our growing UK expansion by launching Ditto Coffee, Rivington, located in an exciting and vibrant area of Shoreditch on Rivington Street. We are truly excited to showcase what our Ditto Coffee ethos is all about in terms of supporting the local independent community, showcasing new artists with live performances, stocking for local labels, opening up networking opportunities and Demo dropboxes for new music all while everyone enjoys our signature coffee blend.

Shoreditch is a fantastic creative and vibrant part of London and we are excited to develop our customer, artist and local business relationships here over the coming months.”

Monday 15th November sees two brilliant young artists performing live at Ditto Coffee in Shoreditch. Born and bred in South London, Elisa Imperilee’s music is a homage to the city that raised her. Following support from Jamz Supernova, Giles Peterson, Brainchild Festival, 6 Music and more, Elisa’s stature grows on every release and she has clocked up over two million streams.

Liverpool-based Amie K has established herself as a prominent songwriter and vocalist. Citing Laura Marling and Maggie Rogers as her key influences she walks the line between folk and pop.
