Northern’s latest Flash Sale is off to a flying start, with hundreds of thousands of cut-price tickets already snapped up by eager passengers across the North.

Launched yesterday (Wednesday 2 September) and running until Friday 4 September, the operator has put four million tickets up for grabs at a price of just £2 for adults, and £1 for children.

Early figures show the ten most popular destinations where the most bargain tickets have been snapped up for so far are:

There are still plenty of bargains to be had, with tickets available for £2 on popular routes such as the iconic Settle & Carlisle line.

Tickets bought in the Flash Sale are valid for travel between 9 September and 23 October 2026 and are available to buy on Northern’s app, online, and at ticket offices and on ticket machines at stations managed by Northern.
