NEW VEGAN TAKEAWAY TAKES A BITE OUT OF THE MANCHESTER FOOD SCENE
A new vegan delivery-only restaurant has launched in Manchester this month – creating food envy across the city.
Plant based A Burgers has a range of tasty offerings which will be loved by meat-eaters and vegans alike. Some menu highlights include:
OAB Burger – A quarter pound Moving Mountains® patty split and grilled as two patties for extra crispness, topped with two slices of melted vegan cheddar, pickled cucumber and caramelised onions, served with lettuce, ketchup, and homemade vegan burger sauce in a soft vegan bun
Spice Up Your Life Burger – Everything in the OAB, but with spicy homemade sauce
Crispy Chick’n Nuggets – Vegan nuggets served with dipping sauce
Taster, the delivery-first restaurant group, with 90 kitchens operated by partners worldwide, is making a big impact in Manchester with the launch of its first Manchester restaurant – A Burgers.
The food will be prepared and dispatched for home delivery from a kitchen in Ardwick, run by local vegan brand Panc Foods, and ordered by customers on Deliveroo and UberEats. Meal deals of burgers and fries cost an average of £13.50.
Taster’s momentum in Manchester continues to grow. Just this week, a second partner has launched Korean fried chicken brand Out Fry, which is now widely available across the city. As well as A Burgers and Out Fry, Taster also has a Vietnamese food brand, Mission Saigon and now new saucy smashed burger brand, Saucy Buns, created with influencer WhatWillyCook – all tapping into the trend for home delivery food options that has exploded across the country.
