Men are Three Times as Likely to have Secret Botox Procedures and More than Half Would Now Consider Having it at Some Point in Life
Leading Dentist and Partner at Chelsea & Fulham Dentist, Dr Imran Sayed, has recently published a National Survey* to highlight how the UK public utilises their dentists for many services including non-dental cosmetic procedures such as Botox and other procedures that aren’t traditionally associated with clinics as only 10% of the public are aware many dentists offer these services.
The survey highlighted that men are much more likely to be secretive about having Botox than women with nearly one in four women (23%) sharing the news compared to only 8% of men. The results also showed that men are much more receptive to the idea of having the procedure at some point in their lives with over half (52%) admitting they would consider it.
Nearly 3 out of 4 (73%) of those under 34 admitted they would consider having Botox if they felt like they needed it compared to only 32% of those over 55s. These results show a real shift in men willing to have the procedure as Botox becomes a more common and popular solution to help reverse the signs of ageing. The survey also showed millions admitted they would prefer to use a medical expert such as a doctor if they were to have the procedure.
