MANCHESTER HOMEBUILDER CELEBRATES MAGNIFICENT SEVEN AS SITE MANAGERS NAMED AMONG THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY

Leading developer Barratt Homes Manchester, based in City Park in Manchester, is singing the praises of seven of its award-winning Site Managers after they celebrated national success in a renowned competition to find the best in the trade.

Three of the Site Managers have received the Seal of Excellence, while a total of seven each received the Pride in the Job Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC). The awards recognise the best run sites in the country and are the highest industry accolade a site manager can achieve.

Sean O’Regan, based in Manchester, received his award for the high-quality homes built at Hillside Central in Hattersley.

The other winners across the North West included: Martin Couch at J One Seven, Peter Fallon at Imperial Park II, Craig Hancock at Orchard Meadows and Jim Thompson at Silk Waters Green, all in Cheshire, Ralph Heaton at Bowland Meadow in Lancashire, and Steven Jordan at Willow Gardens in Derbyshire.

Steven Jordan was commended with not only a Pride in the Job Quality Award, but a Seal of Excellence Award, and his second Regional award as well, meaning he was the cream of the crop in the North West.

Ralph Heaton and Craig Hancock also received a Seal of Excellence Award for their respective sites.

Each year more than 16,000 site managers enter the competition and are judged against strict evaluation criteria, with just 450 individual winners then being chosen. Every winner has been thoroughly assessed during the past 12 months across 37 areas, based on their technical knowledge, quality controls, consistency, health and safety and customer service.

These awards closely follow Barratt Homes receiving five stars in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for customer satisfaction.

Neil Goodwin, Managing Director at Barratt Homes Manchester, said: “We’re very proud of the commitment shown by all of our Site Managers and we would like to congratulate the seven winners on their Pride in the Job triumphs.

“The awards showcase excellence in housebuilding and make certain buyers who purchase a Pride in the Job winning home can take comfort in knowing they have secured a top-quality product.”
