Manchester based indie/electroinic duo Demons of Ruby Mae return with a brand new single ‘Brooklyn’
Manchester based indie/electronic duo Demons of Ruby Mae return with new single ‘Brooklyn’, taken from their forthcoming sophomore release ‘What Goes Unseen’, which is set for release on April 1st 2022.
With its percussive steel drum opening, soaring guitar lines and haunting vocals, ‘Brooklyn’ is a slow burn of a track, channeling bands like Editors or The National, with a melody that will lodge firmly in your head for days.
The duo, who continue to garner fantastic support from the likes of BBC Introducing, 6 Music, XS Manchester and Radio Wales, are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to the follow up to their eponymous debut album.
Catch Demons of Ruby Mae live this spring:
Thursday 7th April – 02 Academy Islington, London
Friday 8th April – The Y Theatre, Leicester
Friday 29th April – The Deaf Institute, Manchester
Demons of Ruby Mae are Jonny Gavin and Adam Rowley.
‘Brooklyn’ is released today (11th March).
