Manchester author launches Christmas novel to support Compassion UK
Manchester author Chick Yuill believes that nothing reaches truth or touches people’s hearts better than a well-told story. An experienced speaker, writer and broadcaster, Chick has contributed to Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday and Pause for Thought in the past. Would you be interested in featuring him and his new Christmas-themed novel as a local author in the final run to Christmas?
Chick’s sixth novel, ‘Talking to Calippa Cumberland’ – a moving and beautifully-told story with a Christmas theme – published at the end of October. Review copies are now available and Chick is available for interviews linked to this new novel and about the power of storytelling to convey truth and touch people’s hearts. Do let me know if you would like to receive a review copy by post – and/or if you would like to talk to Chick about the themes explored in his book – and I would be happy to help. All author royalties from the novel will go to Compassion UK. More information about the book is below and I would be happy to send you a pdf by email or a copy by post if you wish.
‘This is a tale for anyone who has ever felt the mysterious power of Christmas to teach us and prompt us to tell stories of our own that resonate with its great story… This is my Christmas story. A story of loving and losing and finding. A story of the child you and I once were and need to become again.’
