Kyle Barrow (29/11/1997) of Russell Avenue, Whalley Range has been charged with the following offences:

Rape
Attempted rape
Grievous bodily harm
Aggravated burglary
Barrow has been remanded into custody before next appearing at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday 27 June 2026).

Officers were called to reports of an intruder at an address on Furness Road in Fallowfield at around 3:13am yesterday (Thursday 25 June 2026).

Specialist officers are supporting the male victim as well as their family and friends at this time.

This was an isolated incident with no wider threat to the local community.
