Mamma Pastrama reveals 100 hours curing time and invites Londoners to try first 100 sandwiches for £1
To celebrate the grand opening, Mamma Pastrama will be offering up 100 Reubens and Beet Reubens for £1 on Thursday 30th September at 12:30pm.
Curing the perfect pastrami is a process, and Executive Chef Jay Morjaria has constructed a menu focused on modern pastrami, using a secret 100 hour process that combines a blend of proprietary spices and a unique ‘rub’ technique. The one day offer will allow soon-to-be fans to taste the first 100 sandwiches for £1 at 13 Ganton Street.
Locals and office workers first to get their hands on the offer can choose from the Reuben made up of pastrami, sauerkraut, russian dressing, mustard, swiss cheese sandwiched into a marble rye. For those looking for a vegetarian option, the Beet Reuben will feature spiced and smoked beetroot, sauerkraut, Russian dressing and Mamma’s marbled rye.
Sandwich fans will also be able to get their hands on 25% off the menu until the 13th October, with menu highlights including classics such as the Classic Pastrami, made up of a cured, spiced, hop-smoked and steamed house pastrami, topped off with Mamma Pastrama’s inhouse deli mustard, sauerkraut, rye bread and pickle on the side, innovative sides including Pastrami Popcorn and salads such as such as their own Chicken & Bacon Caesar.
Mamma Pastrama aspires to bring something new to Londoners by way of modern reinterpretations of the iconic and much-loved pastrami.
