Lusso gets £1million worth of orders in a single week

When CEO Wayne Spriggs set up the Teesside-based company in 2014, he set a turnover target of £1million for its first year in business, however following a rapid period of growth it now generates over £45m in annual revenue, and in January 2022 it sold more than £1million worth of products in the UK within just seven days.

Speaking on the outstanding achievement, CEO Wayne Spriggs says: “It’s an amazing start to the year and we have a lot more plans in the pipeline. Our vision is to become the world’s leading luxury single-brand department store, offering everything for the home all under the Lusso brand, and in 2022 we’re taking major steps towards that goal by expanding our product range and international reach.

“We’ve already released a new hardware line this year – which includes door handles, furniture knobs and bars – and in addition to our bathroom collections we’ll be offering luxury lighting, tiling and furniture in the coming months.

“We’re also currently gearing up to hit our next major milestone by the end of Q1 – the launch of a dedicated US online store. By delivering a fully localised experience to our growing customer base in the United States, homeowners and hoteliers across the pond will be able to browse and buy in their local currency and more easily enjoy what our great British brand has to offer.”
