England football icon brings the UEFA Women’s EURO and UEFA Women’s Champions League trophies to Amazon in Bolton as part of Amazon’s ongoing commitment to UEFA Women’s Football.

Amazon welcomed one of women’s football’s most beloved figures, Jill Scott MBE, to its fulfilment centre in Bolton as part of the UEFA Women’s Football Trophy Tour. The visit gave Amazon employees an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet a sporting icon and get up close to two of the most prestigious trophies in European football.

Jill rolled up her sleeves and threw herself into the heart of Amazon’s operations as employees gave her a hands-on insight into picking, packing, stowing, and shipping; drawing parallels between the precision and teamwork required both on the football pitch and on the fulfilment floor.

The England legend also led a pre-shift warm-up session with employees, drawing on her experience preparing for elite football matches to make workplace safety feel relevant, energising and fun.

Associates also had the unique opportunity to challenge Jill at table football for the chance to win UEFA Women’s Champions League match tickets.

“Coming to Amazon in Bolton was a brilliant experience and the energy in that building was incredible” said Jill Scott MBE. “The passion and commitment of the people working here reminded me so much of what it takes to be part of a successful team. Whether you’re putting the ball into the back of the net or getting a package to a customer’s door, it comes down to the same things: trust, communication, and people backing each other.”

The Trophy Tour which has visited multiple sites across the UK is part of Amazon’s long-term support of UEFA Women’s Football. In July 2025, Amazon announced an extension of its multi-year partnership with UEFA through to 2030, reaffirming its position as the official online retail sponsor of all UEFA Women’s Football competitions. The renewed deal covers the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Women’s EURO 2029, the UEFA Women’s Nations League and UEFA Women’s Youth tournaments.

As part of this partnership, Amazon hosts a dedicated Women’s Football Shop on its platform, offering thousands of products to help fans across Europe support the game on and off the pitch. The partnership also funds key initiatives including research with the UEFA Innovation Programme into gender disparities in coaching.

Nic Fyfe, VP, EU Amazon Logistics (AMZL) added “Seeing Jill with our team was a genuinely special moment. This is exactly what our partnership with UEFA Women’s Football is about; creating experiences that are truly exclusive to Amazon, that celebrate women’s sport, and that inspire our teams. Jill’s warmth, her story, and the trophies she brought with her gave our employees something to remember.”
