Later Youth has announced a UK tour and a forthcoming new single. Jo Dudderidge’s genre-blending alter-ego will be performing with full band, taking in Manchester, Winchester, St Leonards-on-Sea and London.
The new single, due for release on 27th May, is called “All That Remains” – a swaying indie-folk track with lilting string arrangement, Dudderidge’s lyrical piano arpeggios and a twin-guitar break, all packed into three minutes.
Dudderidge explains: “All That Remains comes from a place of frustration, confusion, and emotional exhaustion with both the world around me and my own relationship to it. It’s the feeling of not recognising the world you live in anymore, thinking about leaving before deciding to embrace what’s left”
Last year’s debut album, ‘Living History’, had widespread praise and landed in the top ten of the Independent Album Breakers Chart.
