Residential retirement developer and operator Elysian Residences have appointed Katherine Rose as Director of Marketing and Sales. Katherine joins Elysian from retirement village provider Audley Group where she spent the past eight years as Group Marketing Director and has experience across UK, South East Asia, Denmark and Portugal. Previously Katherine had varied consumer sales and marketing roles.

Whilst Katherine was at Audley Group the company increased their turnover by tenfold in just four years achieving £100 million turnover annually. Katherine was responsible for Audley Villages at the higher end of the market and also for the creation of Mayfield Villages, the mid-market branch of Audley Group.

Before her role as Group Marketing Director at Audley Group, Katherine became involved with marketing to older people whilst acting as a BBC Marketing Planning Director working on brands such as Gardeners’ World and Radio Times and as Publishing Director at Reader’s Digest. During her time in these positions and having undertaken extensive research, Katherine learnt about the needs and wants of this demographic

In her new position as Director of Marketing and Sales, Katherine’s first task at Elysian Residences will be executing the customer journey, sales and launch of Elysian’s first development the Landsby in Stanmore, set to open in February 2020. The Landsby will provide 101 luxury apartments and hotel-style amenities such as a fully-serviced restaurant and bar, a gym, a library in partnership with Foyles and 24-hour concierge. Flexible care and support will be offered as and if needed
