Kate Middleton causes ‘Navy Coat’ searches to explode 353% after first public appearance of 2022
Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for “Navy Coat” exploded 353% in the UK on the 19th of January, after Kate Middleton wore one for her first joint appearance of 2022 with Prince William.
A new finding by fabric experts Dalston-Mill Fabrics reveals that online interest for “Navy Coat” increased three times the average volume just hours after the Duchess was seen wearing one to a public engagement.
The Duchess appeared in a long navy coat paired with some dark blue wide-leg trousers and a black polo neck to complete the chic look.
A spokesperson for Dalston-Mill Fabrics commented on the findings:
“After her short break of public appearances over Christmas, this data shows the Duchess’ enduring ability to inspire style choices up and down the nation with a single appearance.
Wearing a recycled navy coat styled with some smart trousers and navy heels, Kate shows off her impeccable fashion choices whilst still being cost effective. She also styled some high-street earrings from Accessorize costing just £7, giving fans the perfect opportunity to emulate her look”.
