Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Whitefield Road in Bury at around 6:29pm last night (Sunday 23 August 2026).

A cyclist collided with a parked vehicle and has suffered serious injuries where they remain in hospital in a critical condition.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have saw the moments leading up to this incident, or anyone who has mobile phone or dash cam footage, to come forward and assist our investigation.
