Green People has already made a lot of progress on its promise to reduce single-use plastic packaging by 2022. Now the organic skin care brand is revolutionising beauty balms by bringing the first balm packaged in a 100% biodegradable pot to the certified organic skin care market.

Launching this week, One Balm is a top-to-toe beauty balm for all genders and all skin types. A beauty industry first, this versatile beauty balm is presented in a petite pot made from wood and plant polymers that degrades in soil after use, leaving no trace of microplastics behind.

Nothing went to waste when bringing this natural, organic balm into being. The journey to the jar started in a sustainably grown forest where by- product sawdust, which would otherwise be thrown away, was used to make the basis of the pot. The biodegradable box is made from wood pulp and 25% grass fibre.
